About
I build structure before I build content.
The clearest brands aren't the loudest ones. They're the most intentional. That conviction runs through every brand, every event, and every system I build.
I'm Gwen, the strategist and producer behind HazelPiper Creative. I work with leadership teams in healthcare, insurance, hospitality, and founder-led companies at the moment their ambition outgrows their infrastructure.
I built the full marketing and conference infrastructure for a risk strategies firm from a standing start: brand, outbound engine, editorial system, and an original executive conference format the firm still runs. Today I manage the conference ecosystem and content program for the Direct Care Alliance and direct brands across hospitality and consumer categories.
The throughline in all of it: I build things that keep working after I leave the room. Systems over scrambles. Standards over trends. Order before growth.
The Advantage
AI tools in the right hands change everything.
Most small businesses have heard about AI but don't have the time or bandwidth to figure out which tools to use, how to prompt them, or how to integrate them into a workflow that actually sticks. That's where I come in.
I use AI daily — for content generation, brand voice calibration, outbound copywriting, workflow automation, and visual system development. What used to take weeks now takes days. What took days now takes hours. That efficiency isn't just good for me — it means you get more, faster, at a price that makes sense for a small business.
You don't need to learn the tools. You need someone who already has.
The Method
How every engagement runs.
Four steps. Same arc, every engagement. Structure first, then execution, then handoff.
Step 01
Diagnose
I audit what exists: brand, pipeline, operations, events. Most organizations are doing the right things in the wrong order. This finds the order.
Step 02
Design
Strategy on paper before anything goes live: the positioning, the system map, the run of show. Nothing gets built until the structure is agreed.
Step 03
Build
The brand, the engine, the event. Every asset mapped to a purpose, every workflow documented as it's created.
Step 04
Transfer
The deliberate handoff. Playbooks, training, and standards so your team runs the system without me. The engagement ends; the infrastructure doesn't.
